Coordinators' Corner

How is it already March? As we wind down the third quarter, we hope students are staying strong and powering through the dreaded third-quarter slump! The fourth quarter will be here before we know it, bringing all the excitement of end-of-year activities—so stay strong, students, especially you seniors!

Speaking of seniors, PLEASE take advantage of the scholarship opportunities available to you through our Central and PTSA scholarships (see info below!). Deadlines are quickly approaching, so PLEASE apply soon. Reach out to your counselors or Mrs. Keeth, our College & Career Readiness Specialist, for help.

Our Internal Assessment "season" is in full swing for juniors and seniors. It is incredibly important for students to meet both interim and final deadlines for their Internal Assessments, as these make up a significant portion of the overall IB course assessment. Putting forth your best effort now will pay off in the long run! Teachers and coordinators will be reaching out to those who are behind or struggling to offer assistance and support—we want to get everyone across the finish line! If you need help, please reach out, and we’ll be there for you!

Students will prepare in class before Spring Break and present their prepared oral to a teacher. This assessment is weighted 20% of students' IB grade.
