IB Seniors and Parents:
Presentations regarding IB hoods and cords worn at graduation were made today in all the TOK classes. IB hoods and cords are worn with your cap and gown and identify you as a student who participated in Mira Loma's rigorous IB program.
If you are not taking TOK or if you otherwise missed the presentation, order forms are available in Mr. Mathew's office, or you can print the form at the end of this email. Please put your order form in an envelope with your name and payment to Mr. Mathews.
This year, we have a new option for the rental of the graduation regalia. If you wish to rent, please divide your payment into two checks, one for $15 and a second check for the balance due for the hood. The second check will be returned to you when you turn in the hood after graduation. You can return the hood to school on the Monday after graduation, or you can contact Mrs. Nag or Mrs. Luszczak to arrange another time. We will not be able to collect the regalia or return your checks immediately following the graduation ceremony on June 8.
The IBPO Board believes that all IB students should have the opportunity to show their family and friends at graduation that they took part in the IB program. If you need help paying for the regalia, waivers are available through the counseling office or Mr. Mathews.
