What should you include in public worship?
I remember the beginning of my first pastorate, the congregation included faithful, loving Christians who worshiped together for decades. As any tight-knit group will do, a few odd church family rituals embedded themselves in their unwritten, but expected traditions. One of which was singing "Happy Birthday" to prominent members in the church during the Sunday morning service. The ratio was about one stanza of "Happy Birthday” every other Sunday.

Happenings at IBC
“It’s hip to clip” - as an encouragement to George Carver ES and Albert Hill MS, IBC will be collecting Box Tops from items purchased with this logo. Just clip the logo and slip in one of the clearly marked boxes in either of the kitchens or in the office at IBC. In turn the schools are reimbursed 10¢ for each box top. This added blessing allows schools to purchase much needed items. What a great way to show our love and support for schools in RVA!
Our Christmas Outreach this year will be assisting foster families through Hope Tree Family Services. More information will be presented during the morning worship this Sunday.
The PRC Annual Gala is our biggest event of the year! We welcome our keynote speaker,  Jor-El Godsey,  President of Heartbeat International. He has served in the pregnancy help movement since 1991 reaching, rescuing, and renewing communities worldwide for LIFE. He speaks with an uplifting message of hope and LIFE!
