Welcome to March! Many of you, like us, are getting ready to head to warm and sunny Florida for the IBDEA Annual Conference. We can't wait to visit with everyone in person.
Conference Attendees should have received an email with instructions to connect to our NEW and IMPROVED Conference 2022 App. Please take a moment and download the app to your mobile device. It is a super easy process and this will be our primary method of communication during the Conference. We will be happy to help you connect to the App at the IBDEA Registration desk.

Holy Moly! It's March 1st, and we're just days from our Annual Conference. I can't believe how fast 2022 is already flying by. Myself, and the beautiful IBDEA duo, Lenette and CJ, are so excited to see everyone at the best conference ever! I am looking forward to the warm weather Orlando should welcome us with, the two great speakers (Dirk and Hank), and the fun workshops and events we have planned out. Including an extra workshop with Dirk, all thanks to Lenette. The 50th celebration for IBDEA is such a huge deal, and I hope you have your 70s and/or gold attire all ready to go for our closing ceremony. See you soon!

Caribe Royale COVID Guidelines |

IBDEA will follow Florida, Orlando, and the Caribe Royale guidelines. Currently, they are not requiring proof of vaccination or requiring masks on property. The IBDEA is delighted to announce that Tra Battle will join us for an interactive workshop titled "Customer Service – It is our pleasure to serve you!"
Tra Battle is a leader both on and off the field as a former professional athlete with the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers, a Piedmont-based anesthesiologist technician, a Franchise Director of a highly successful Chick-fil-A, and today, as the Guest Experience Director at the Buford, Georgia Victory Church. Tra is a man that understands the true meaning of humble service and leads by his life's example.
While the operations director in a multi-unit Chick-fil-A-Franchise, Tra led a team of employees to be their best while having fun, serving safe and great food, delivering unrivaled customer service, and maintaining a growth mindset while reaping the harvest of their stewardship. Tra is skilled in charity work, coaching, athletics, team building, and public speaking. He's a quick-service restaurant professional with a bachelor's degree focused on Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from the University of Georgia.
Successfully navigating a lifetime of twists and turns beginning in Forsyth, Ga, the former Georgia Bulldog All-American and NFL safety has faced elite competition and prevailed. With a faith-based determination, Tra is known for his positive influence on the lives of those around him. After battling against the best in sports and life, there are no obstacles too large for Tra to tackle.

The IBDEA is excited to announce that Henry Fishkind, Ph. D., will be a keynote speaker at the 2022 Conference! With over 30 years of experience in economic analysis and forecasting, Dr. Henry Fishkind is widely regarded as one of Florida's premier economists and financial advisors.
Dr. Fishkind's career began in the public sector, where he worked as an economist and associate professor at the University of Florida. In 1980, Dr. Fishkind became the associate director for programs at the University of Florida's Bureau of Economic and Business Research. During his tenure at the university, Dr. Fishkind served from 1979-1981 on the governor's economic advisory board. He began his career as a private-sector consultant when he became president of M.G. Lewis Econometrics in Winter Park, Florida. In 1988, Dr. Fishkind formed Fishkind & Associates, Inc. as a full-service economic and financial consulting firm. In 2019, Dr. Fishkind sold his business's financial advisory, consulting, and real estate advisory portions while keeping the expert witness portion, Fishkind Litigation Services, Inc.
