Notes from IBDEA Headquarters
WOW! WOW! WOW! What a great time in NOLA with our IBDEA family at the 2023 Conference. We will share more on the conference in the March 13th issue of Conference News.
What a wild ride the past two years have been for us as your management team, and we are thankful for all those that helped us along the way. We are always looking for ways to add more value to your membership. So please keep your thoughts and suggestions coming our way!
Teamwork does make the dream work, and with the help of our members, we can continue to grow as an association. So please consider joining one of our many committees, and help shape the future of IBDEA.

The 2023 Conference is in the books. The executive team and the conference chair, Molly Arehart of Helget Gas Products, knocked it out of the PARK! The keynote speaker, Holly G. Green, was fabulous, and she got us all thinking and using our brains. As usual, the open forum with Andy Pincus of Carbonator Rental was at its best!
The great takeaways were:
- We all could see our dearest friends, celebrate the memories of those who have passed, and meet new members that will lead to great friendships in the future!
- The product fair was very successful. An order for a mile and a half of beer trunk housing was sold. New products were displayed and received warmly. And, in what I call “an IBDEA thing,” two members networked and solved a dispensing issue in Europe.
- The overall consensus is that the improvements to the conference were good, and more need to come. The good news is that the Board of Directors is listening and is already looking into changes for 2024 and future conferences.
While heading to the airport, I realized the only downside to the conference is that it will be some time until we meet again, but I firmly believe the memories of this year will carry us to next year in Lake Las Vegas!
Thank you, IBDEA!
