IBLCE® Advisory Opinion on Education for IBCLC Eligibility and Recertification

Dear IBCLC Stakeholder:

IBLCE has issued a new Advisory Opinion on Education for IBCLC Eligibility and Recertification.

This Advisory Opinion provides guidance on policy pertaining to education provided by companies whose products fall within the scope of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes.

We encourage you to read this new Advisory Opinion to understand what education earned after January 1, 2022, will be accepted for IBCLC eligibility or recertification requirements.
