My job:
I will facilitate the training and education offered to our member banks. Our training programs offer multiple opportunities to expand knowledge on the different lending channels and product offerings here at IBMC. Whether it be in-person trainings offered at the IBA office, virtual trainings or onsite trainings at the bank, I am here to help assist our bankers in the manner that best suits their needs. I will also be available to answer banker questions as they relate to specific loan products/scenarios, lending channel questions, customer service and loan servicing questions or in any other areas where they may need assistance.
Experience:
15 years in the mortgage industry.
Why I'm excited for this opportunity:
I am excited to use the knowledge I've gained over many years on the production side of the mortgage industry to educate our member bank mortgage loan originators (MLOs). Having used IBMC products as a lender myself, I hope to help our bankers become more confident in their product knowledge so they can make recommendations on what loan product will best suit their borrower’s needs. I hope to assist bankers who are new to the mortgage industry, new to using IBMC or seasoned bankers seeking a refresher, providing them with the tools necessary for successful lending. I truly enjoy cultivating relationships, so I am looking forward to connecting with bankers in this role.
What I enjoy most about working in the mortgage industry:
It’s extremely rewarding to help others achieve their dream of homeownership, witnessing the joy and excitement as they embark on the new chapter in their lives.
What I like to do outside of work:
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and attending live music concerts.
What I've enjoyed most about working for IBMC:
Having previously worked with IBMC as a lender, I already knew the caliber of the company and its employees. I'm thrilled to be part of this outstanding team.
