Inyo County Superintendent of Schools Barry Simpson with some of our Art Docents at the awards ceremony on May 9th.
On May 9th, ICA's Art Docent Program was awarded the countywide Community Star Award from the Inyo County Office of Education.

We Got the Grants!
We're elated to announce that we got the grants! The California Arts Council has awarded Inyo Council for the Arts three grants, enabling us to continue funding ongoing projects that support arts programming in the schools and provide arts opportunities countywide! The public is invited to come enjoy an evening of fine art, refreshments and presentations presented by The Project Room @ Independent Project Press and Serrano Fine Art in downtown Bishop. Socialize and mingle with local and visiting artists and the works of art they create.

New oil pastel paintings by Randy Smith, and new plein air landscape paintings by local Western Landscape artist Frank Serrano, along with unique original paintings by renowned artists Robert Clunie and Robert Wood. Randy Smith will also be presenting a pastel painting demonstration between 6:00 and 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 15th.
