We are so excited for the next Program Council Peer Connections session being held for shelter managers staff next week. Program Council Peer Connections are a series of peer networking opportunities to bring staff together with their peers from member agencies throughout the state. You are receiving this email either because you are a Program Council delegate or because a Program Council delegate has signed you up to receive notifications for this Peer Connections Group, presumably because responsibilities at your agency are related managing your agency's shelter.
-
If you have specific topics you would like to suggest the group discuss, please submit those to Eric Ray.
- Participation is not required but we do hope you consider taking the time to join in, even if only for part of the time. Sessions will not be recorded but discussion summaries will be distributed after the sessions for those who are unable to participate.
- Registration for the session is not required. Connection information is below. Please use that to join.
- We strongly encourage you to participate via computer and not by telephone. One of the goals of these sessions is to help build relationships among peers and that will be so much more effective if everyone is sharing their webcams. If you must join by telephone it will be helpful if you can dial in a few minutes early so we can gather information needed to make transitioning to breakout rooms a little smoother.
-
The session will be approximately two hours. Part of the session will be for regional or topical breakouts. If you are unfamiliar with the ICADV member region with which your agency is associated, please see this map.
- Staff facilitators will be Eric Ray, Programmatic Technical Assistance Coordinator, and Michelle McAnarney, Director of Strategic Partnerships.
- This is NOT a training. While staff facilitators will have some questions prepared to help get the conversations going, this is your time to discuss what is currently challenging your work in the day to day.
