On Monday, we honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a leader whose vision of justice, equality, and compassion continues to guide us. His unwavering belief that love and nonviolence could transform society remains as urgent and powerful today as it was during his lifetime.
The Midway is full of people, businesses, nonprofits and schools dedicated to our
community and the beliefs held by Dr. King. His words and beliefs are especially important in Minnesota right now as members of our immigrant community face fear and uncertainty from aggressive immigration operations.

The Midway Chamber has released the following two statements.
ICE Statement
The Midway Chamber of Commerce believes immigrants are essential to our communities and we stand with employees, employers, and neighbors as they confront unreasonably aggressive enforcement tactics of federal immigration enforcement agencies. We urge Midway business owners to educate themselves and their employees about their rights and stand ready to assist in that effort. We call on elected officials to enact a national immigration policy that unites rather than divides and ask officials treat people with respect and dignity.
THC Statement
The Midway Chamber of Commerce recognizes the promise and importance of the THC industry to our economy and opposes the new federal law that hinders the growth of this industry. Stifling federal laws designed to cripple the THC industry will result in job losses and business closures throughout Minnesota and the United States. We stand by the THC industry.

The program will also include key takeaways from the InterCity Leadership Visit to Detroit and the inspiration it brought back to inform local efforts.

For more than two decades, Joe Spencer has engineered growth and vitality in downtown Saint Paul. As the first president of the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance, Joe works across public and private sectors to build a strong, vibrant downtown and create a positive experience for visitors, residents, and workers alike. Under his leadership, the Downtown Alliance has created the Downtown Investment Strategy to align public and private investment priorities, partnered with property owners to establish the Saint Paul Downtown Improvement District and its clean and safe services, founded the Downtown Development Corporation to advance catalytic development projects, and activated the streets with hundreds of free events, public art installations, and more.

Cancellations should be received via formal written notice with as much advance notice as possible. Those forced to cancel at least 5 days prior to the event may choose one of these options:
- Receive a ticket credit which can be used for future chamber events, pending chamber approval (excluding Midway on the Fairway). The cancellation credit will be valid through Feb 5, 2027.
- Choose to convert your ticket purchase to a 100% tax-deductible contribution to the Midway Chamber of Commerce.

~Seating preferences are not encouraged and will NOT be accepted a week prior of the event~
Seating requests will be taken into consideration as a 'suggestion', but the Midway Chamber reserves the right to re-arrange as needed.
