The High Desert Court Group Home is a 6-bed male ICF residential placement that is located in Jacksonville, Florida, just off of Biscayne Road. High Desert Court staff have received BLS (Basic Life Support) and PCM (Professional Crisis Management), First Aid, Universal Precautions, etc. Therefore, staff are equipped and able to care for the residents’ needs in initial times of crisis.
High Desert Court Group Home is at the end of the cul-de-sac. Located in Sandy Point Subdivision. The group home is located a few blocks away from Biscayne Elementary School, Highlands Middle School, and Biscayne High School. There are a host of hospitals located within 5-10 minutes from the group home; Baptist Emergency; UF Health Emergency & Urgent Center; and UF Health North, are three of the larger hospitals in the immediate area.
The Group Home is located three miles from Jacksonville International Airport, River City Shopping Area, major restaurants, and hotels. High Desert Court Group Home is located approximately 11 miles from Jacksonville’s beaches, seaport services, parks, and botanical gardens.
Because the home is situated in the Jacksonville area where there are many recreational options, the residents have been able to enjoy outings to the park, restaurants, malls, the zoo, and outdoor markets, with more exciting adventures
on the horizon!
