UNITY CONCERT!
Unity Concert and Build for Unity

Last Sunday, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento hosted our first ever Unity Concert to kick off Build for Unity 2019 - our interfaith initiative which brings together people of different religions, colors, and backgrounds to put to down their differences and come together to build hope, homes, and unity.

Led by acclaimed choral director Steven Johnson, the Unity Concert featured musicians from our local Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and Christian faith communities who joined the Sacramento Children's Chorus, Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus, and St. John's Choir to bring us beautiful renditions of original and re-imagined songs in a multitude of languages and styles to showcase the power and beauty of uniting our different voices together as one.

Holiday Stocking Drive
Women's Empowerment
Holiday Stocking Drive

The holiday season can be an especially difficult time of year for women who are homeless or recently homeless. Purchasing holiday gifts may not always be an option. That’s where you come into play.

With your help, we can make sure that the women and children in our program each receive a special holiday gift this year. Here’s our goal: We’re trying to collect 250 stockings by Wednesday, December 5th!

By donating a stocking of gifts, your act of kindness can demonstrate to women and children that they are loved by the community! See specified list of stocking items needed below.

“O Come Let Us Adore Him”

More than 50 volunteer cast members will come together in the true spirit of Christmas for multiple performances of the biblical account of the birth of Jesus Christ. This family-friendly, outdoor live nativity presentation, “O Come Let Us Adore Him,” will run Thursday, December 6th through Sunday, December 9th, with evening performances beginning every half hour.

Admission to the Live Nativity is free.
