THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every member of our ICS community who generously contributed through recent donations. Your support plays a vital role in strengthening our programs, enriching student experiences, and helping us continue the events and initiatives that make ICS such a special place.

Call to Action: Keep the Momentum Going!

If you haven’t had a chance to contribute yet—or if you’re looking for more ways to get involved—we invite you to join us. Your support truly matters, and there are many ways to make a difference:

  • Make a donation to help fund upcoming events and student programs. We strongly encourage each family to donate $225.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

LUNCHROOM VOLUNTEERS

ICS lunchroom volunteers now need to obtain their Food Worker Card. Obtaining your card is a relatively short task, costs $10, and is valid for 2 years. This is beneficial for all kitchen volunteers to have in order to keep all our kids safe and healthy. Apply here and you can print a copy of your card and bring in the next time you volunteer:

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - FEBRUARY 21

The ICS high school Science Olympiad team is attending the regional competition on February 21 at North Seattle College! We are looking for parent volunteers to serve as lead proctors and scorers for various events. There are various shifts available, and the expected volunteer time is about 3-3.5 hours. Any parent is encouraged to volunteer! Sign up via the Volunteer Form Link.

JOIN THE HOSA PARENT WHATSAPP GROUP

As we head into the busy season for HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) — especially with the upcoming event on March 2–4 in Spokane — we thought it might be helpful to create a space for parents to connect. Few HOSA parents have set up a WhatsApp group to share information, next steps, and general updates related to HOSA. This is a community-led effort.

This is the first year in HOSA for several of our students, and it would be wonderful to learn from families who have been through the process before. Having a place where parents can ask questions and support one another will help make things smoother for everyone.

If your student is in HOSA, please consider joining the WhatsApp Group— especially high school parents who may have valuable experience to share.

Looking forward to building a supportive HOSA parent community.
