MULTIPLE PTSA-SPONSORED CLUBS ARE NOW OPEN!

We are excited to once again offer multiple PTSA Clubs for your kids. This year, we added four new options: ACIT (All Creators in Tech), Art, Ensemble, and Jiu Jitsu. Please go to the PTSA website to get the most updated information. Don't forget to join and donate to the PTSA so we can still offer these great opportunities for the kids!

ACIT: Provides middle and high school students with hands-on experience in STEM by designing, building, and coding robots, while working in teams to solve real-world challenges and compete in fun local competitions.

Jiu Jitsu: We're excited to launch a new Sports/Jiu-Jitsu Club for students 6-12. Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on leverage, problem-solving, and control. The club will focus on anti-bullying, de-escalation, and confidence building through fun games, teamwork, and beginner Jiu-Jitsu techniques, all taught by Mr. Aquino, our security for ICS. No experience or martial arts background is needed. The club will meet once a week after school on Tuesdays for an hour. More details on sign-ups coming soon.

Science Club: To join the PTSA Science Club/Science Olympiad, you can fill out this form and join the join the WhatsApp group.

Ski Bus IS COMING! 🏂Ready to hit the slopes this winter? Whether you're a total beginner or already shredding like a pro, the ICS Ski Bus is your ticket to snowy fun this January & February — on Wednesdays after school starting January 7th! Sign-ups open by early October. Spots are limited, so don’t wait — once the bus is full, that’s it!

ICS FAMILIES INVITED TO FREE SUBJECT EXPERT PROGRAMMING

The VP of Programs at Tesla has organized FREE webinars, workshops, and talks from subject experts for our families. We at TESLA STEM PTSA would like to share this with the wider community. Click here to see our calendar of events for the 2025-2026 school year.

THE DEI COMMITTEE IS SEEKING MEMBERS FOR FOR 2025-2026

DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) Committee members are wanted for help with planning and organizing events throughout the year! Specifically, we need help with Phoenix Day in January and International Food Night in April, and a movie night TBD. If you are interested in helping plan one of these events, or have an idea for another event, please email Pam Gaynor.

STAFF APPRECIATION COMMITTEE MEMBERS & CO-CHAIR

We are seeking a co-chair and additional members to join the Staff Appreciation Committee. Last year, the committee did amazing work and received high praise from our school staff. This year, we have only one co-chair, so we urgently need more helping hands to continue these much-loved events — including 3 luncheons, 8 monthly snacks, one more bagels-and-coffee morning, and Staff Appreciation Week.

LUNCH ROOM VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED EVERY DAY

With the change in start time for the school, the entire student population has a single lunch block. Due to this, we need volunteers to support the lunchroom every day. This is a great way to help at school and earn volunteer hours!

Requirement: 11:35 AM - 12:50 PM

Responsibilities:

•Direct kids to the lunch line. 

•Help serve food items. 

•Help clear up after lunch by putting chairs back into storage
