JOIN US AT THE PARENT MEETING TOMORROW!

Our last PTSA Parent Meeting of 2024-2025 is happening Tomorrow, May 14, at 7:00 PM. Join us in person at the ICS Lyceum. It is a great opportunity to meet more families, learn about the PTSA plans, budget and vote for the new Board for next school year.

Hope to see everyone there!

WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF ONE 2025-2026 BOARD POSITION!

We are still looking for a PTSA Co-President for the 2025 - 26 school year! All other Board positions have been filled, and all committees will be filled by the end of the year! Please email:  president@icsptsa.org to nominate yourself or ask questions about the role! The new Board will be voted in during our final Parent Meeting in May 14. Next year's board nominees:

FEMALE VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR GRADE 9 WHIDBEY ISLAND EXCURSION

You will be an overnight chaperone in the cabins sharing a room with our other female chaperone. The students will be in the same building. Day time activities are flexible if you need to work. Please indicate any daytime conflicts when you volunteer. Driving skills are not required.

Where: Camp Casey + around Whidbey Island

When: May 19 - 23: Expect a full week commitment with duties primarily at night.

DIGIPEN FOCUS WEEK

The DigiPen focus week is coming up and volunteers would be appreciated for AM and PM shifts please. Each shift will include supervising during the classroom learning times (which will be conducted by DigiPen staff) and lunch (the shifts overlap lunch to provide additional supervision during this time).

Duration: 5/19/2025 - 5/22/2025

2 volunteers needed per-shift for AM and PM

AM shift: 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM

PM shift: 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Volunteers connected with DigiPen Focus Week students would be great, but there are no requirements. No experience required, need is supervisory only. Please consider volunteering HERE.

FBLA MOVIE NIGHT VOLUNTEER SIGN UP

We are excited to bring back FBLA Movie Night for all middle and high school students! This is a free event hosted by FBLA, and we’re expecting a great turnout.

We need parent volunteers to help supervise and support this fun evening. Volunteers will help with general supervision of students and may be asked to assist at the concessions stand.

When: Friday, May 30, 2025,

Where: ICS Gym or Commons - TBD

Student Event Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Volunteer Shift: 5:15 PM – 8:30 PM (to allow setup and cleanup)

END OF SCHOOL YEAR TEXTBOOK AND LAPTOP ROLL IN

The school needs volunteers to help with laptop and textbook roll in for grades 6-11 on June 20. Looking for 2 volunteers for 2 shifts. Please consider signing up HERE.

LOST & FOUND



We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to help sort through this year's lost and found! Items will be displayed in the lobby via coat racks and tables to make it easy for students to spot their missing items! All unclaimed items will later be donated to Goodwill. Email president@icsptsa.org if interested!

LUNCHROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Due to recent staff changes, parent volunteers are urgently needed to help ease the lines for students and to support the lunchroom staff. There are many open spots during the month of May and beyond. Please sign up HERE. Thank you for supporting our students and staff!

ICS COOKBOOK - MAY 15 LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR RECIPES!

The ICS Cookbook is a delightful project that brings together the diverse culinary traditions of our community. This cookbook will feature a collection of cherished recipes from around the world, contributed by members of our community. Whether you are a seasoned chef or a home cook, this cookbook offers a unique opportunity to share your favorite dishes and discover new ones.

We invite you to contribute your recipes and be a part of this exciting culinary journey.
