Iowa Credit Unions: Thank You for Record-Breaking Support!

Thank you to the 50 Iowa credit unions that elected to give to ICUF during the 2024 Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) dues renewal process. These contributions will be reinvested in initiatives to improve the financial lives of Iowans across the state and champion financial well-being for all.

Collectively, credit union donors provided a record-breaking $135,556 in charitable support! Thank you for your critical endorsement.

Charitable support from organizations and credit unions across the state allows ICUF to deliver on mission-centered work and initiatives. From assisting Iowans with disaster grants, providing financial coach training to credit union employees, and launching ICUF's new financial inclusion grant initiative, all ICUF programs rely on charitable support.

Black History Month Celebrated Throughout February

Black History Month is an annual celebration first conceptualized by Dr. Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans as a week-long event for U.S. schools to encourage the study of African American history. The celebration became nationally recognized in 1976 as an ‘opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.’
