This year's ICUF "Be the Light" Golf Classic fundraising event was held on June 7 in Coralville, Iowa. With the generous support of golfers and sponsors, more than $53,000 was raised and over 130 golfers were in attendance.

These donations provide the ICUF with critical dollars to support ongoing grants, programs, and initiatives for Iowa credit unions and their members. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event and made monetary gifts to support future initiatives.

Registration is now open for ICUF's premier fundraising event of the year - you do not want to miss out!

The ICUF Benefit Night Fundraiser will be held Thursday, September 14 in Coralville during the 2023 Iowa Credit Union Convention. Attendees will enjoy a delicious meal, dancing, and live entertainment.

Benefit Night would not be possible without the generous donations of supporters. Please consider becoming an event sponsor or donating a package to the auction. During the 2023 Benefit Night Fundraiser, ICUF recognizes outstanding credit union philanthropists through a presentation of the ICUF Community Impact Awards.

To ensure the best candidates are up for the award, ICUF needs your help! Please nominate a peer who demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility through volunteerism, advocacy, or philanthropy today!

New resources in the Iowa Credit Union League Resource Library have been created to help credit unions connect members with information and organizations to support their financial journeys.The new documents are available in the categories of Financial Inclusion and Professional Development.

If you are not currently an ICUL website user, register here to access these new resources. Please note, ICUL website access is only available for staff and board members of credit unions that are ICUL members.

Congratulations to DuTrac Community Credit Union, winner of CUNA's nationwide Youth Savings Challenge, which assists young members in their financial literacy by encouraging them to open a savings account.

DuTrac opened 23 new accounts and saw 7,837 deposits totaling $1.7 million for the month.

Iowa’s premier housing event, Housing is the Start, will be held September 6-8 in Cedar Rapids. The conference will prompt attendees and speakers to illuminate how ‘Housing is the Start’ for economic opportunity and thriving Iowa families, communities and businesses. Read more about DuTrac's participation in the challenge here.
