November 30 is Giving Tuesday - a nation-wide movement to promote generosity during the holiday season. Held annually the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support the community organizations important to you.
Here are some ideas for getting involved:
Create awareness about the day - get your family and peers involved, and consider using the #GivingTuesday hashtag on social media.

Credit Unions Can Support ICUF Through ICUL Dues Renewal Process
Included in the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) annual dues solicitation is an ask to consider a charitable gift to our foundation. These donations support ICUF’s overall mission based initiatives and allow us to respond to the critical needs of Iowans.
Please consider supporting ICUF this year by designating a gift in your ICUL dues notice. We are so grateful for the commitment from Iowa credit unions toward our collective mission!

Financial Well-Being for All: Our Movement's Calling
CUNA President & CEO Jim Nussle recently referenced an Iowa phrase in an article: "'Are you a bell cow?" In other words, are you somebody that everyone else follows?"
Financial Well-Being for All is the counterpart to our industry's mission of People Helping People. Are you doing your part to lead the way for those around you?
Our credit union movement thrives because of the people involved - from the teller station to the loan office, the marketing table to the board room - our movement is fueled by passionate member-advocates.
Consider stepping out of your comfort zone and participating in industry learning opportunities. Future growth of our Iowa industry depends on ideas and innovation. Are you willing to jump in?
Filene i3 Program: Filene i3 is a two-year innovation leadership program equipping credit union professionals with the mindset, tools, and network to lead and shape the future. Applications close November 30.
Crash the GAC: Crash the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington D.C. to learn about advocating for credit unions. Applications are open until December 3, and ICUL has an assisting scholarship for an Iowa crasher.
Thank you to our recent donors, who made contributions to support ICUF's mission-based initiatives.
