Iowa Credit Union Foundation works to champion financial well-being for all.

In response to a record number of applications and record-breaking donations from Iowa credit unions, the ICUF board voted to double the amount of scholarships awarded through the 2024 Warren A. Morrow Scholarship program.

Twenty-four Iowa students from eighteen different credit unions received a total of $46,000 in scholarships to support their educational pursuits. ICUF invests in Iowa students' education, as education equips individuals with the tools to make informed decisions, navigate economic systems, and effectively manage their finances - laying the groundwork for future financial stability and well-being.

The annual scholarship program is in memory of the late Warren A. Morrow.

ICUF has launched the Financial Inclusion Grant Program to direct funding to organizations that are improving financial well-being for minority populations in Iowa.

In order for organizations to apply for grants, they must be first nominated by an Iowa credit union by May 17. Organizations that can be nominated are those making a difference in the areas of: affordable housing, business ownership, childcare, education, employment, or health access and outcomes. If you have a local organization that comes to mind, nominate them!

The annual ICUF Impact Awards honor individuals within the Iowa credit union movement who demonstrate outstanding civic and charitable responsibility through volunteerism, advocacy or philanthropy in service toward community-based charitable causes.

This award includes credit unions and community partners of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) who demonstrate the people helping people philosophy. The awards highlight exemplary individuals and serve as a catalyst for promoting future good work, leadership, and positive impact.
