ICUF is proud to announce the graduates of the 2024 ‘People Helping People’ Financial Coach Program. These participants were immersed in learning and simulation to help them grow in understanding of how a person’s relationship with money can impact their financial decision making and lead to potential hardship. This year's event was held virtually, split into multiple half-day training sessions facilitated by ICUF board member Adam Carroll. TruStage was the program sponsor, and we thank them for their support!

The 2024 ICUF Benefit Night Fundraiser will be held September 19 in Des Moines during the annual Iowa Credit Union Convention. Participants will enjoy a night of impact programming, dinner, live music, and dancing.

Benefit Night would not be possible without the generous donations of our supporters. Please consider becoming an event sponsor or donating a package to the auction. During the 2024 Benefit Night Fundraiser we will recognize outstanding credit union philanthropists through the presentation of the ICUF Community Impact Awards.

Iowa Credit Union Foundation recently hosted Friend of the Foundation campaign for Affiliates Management Company (AMC) employees. During the weeklong campaign ICUF showcased impact of its work and celebrated AMC employees who elected to support ICUF via payroll deductions and one-time donations.  

Through online donations and paycheck pledges, AMC employees raised more than $14,000 to support ICUF's work.

The Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) supports Iowa credit union members who have been displaced from their homes for an extended period of time due to disasters such as tornadoes, flooding or fire. ICUF is able to provide assistance thanks to donor support and based on funds availability.

We are aware of need coming from areas in Iowa resulting from storm activity during the week of May 20.

ICUF's Disaster Grant eligibility is limited to Iowans who are members of an Iowa credit union, are displaced due to significant damage to their home and have critical financial need. Find more information below or reach out to the ICUF team.

Additionally, ICUF has compiled a comprehensive list of other resources and support available to those impacted.
