Small Credit Union Grant Applications Open Through November 15

ICUF Small Credit Union Grant applications are open for Iowa credit unions at or under $50 million in assets.


Credit unions may apply for grants to invest in:

Financial Health Network Publishes Pulse 2024 U.S. Trends Report

The 2024 Pulse U.S. trends report has shared that day-to-day financial realities are worsening for many, however, this decline is offset by strengthening confidence in future financial expectations. 


Read the report to learn how middle-income households with credit card debt are struggling more frequently with day-to-day financial challenges and financial vulnerability. The report provides updates and actionable insights on consumer financial health in the United States.

United Way Publishes 2024 ALICE Report Update

United For ALICE is a driver of innovation, research, and action to improve life across the country for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and for all.


In 2023, a report was created to capture the reality of household costs across Iowa. A 2024 update was recently released to expand upon the existing report. Check it out to learn about the ALICE Household survival budget, reflecting the minimum costs to live and work in the current economy.

Support Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

In the wake of devastating damage from Hurricane Helene throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, credit union leagues and foundations are partnering to respond to those effected.


Supporters may donate and support the relief efforts of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU), the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF), The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation and NCUF.

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month in November

November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate and honor the rich cultural heritage and contributions of Indigenous peoples. Learn about the history and culture of Native Americans and the stories of Native communities.
