Applications are still open for ICUF's 2023 Small Credit Union Grant for credit unions at or under $50 million in assets. Credit unions may apply for grants for technology improvements, consultation/planning services or qualifying educational trainings.

To apply for this grant, download and complete this application. Finished applications must be emailed to ICUF by November 10 at 5:00 p.m. The small credit union grant is made possible thanks to donor support from Veridian Credit Union.

United Ways of Iowa has released a 2023 ALICE report about COVID and Financial Hardship in Iowa.

ALICE, Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed, places a spotlight on a large population of hardworking residents who work at low-paying jobs, have little or no savings, and are one emergency away from falling into poverty.

Recent Financial Health Network research has found that 4 in 10 Americans (40%) report high or moderate stress from their finances. These Americans are disproportionately struggling financially, often facing challenges meeting day-to-day needs.
