Convention CRASH Participants Announced
The Iowa Credit Union League is excited to announce that 15 emerging leaders and 2 inspiring mentors will be crashing Convention in Coralville, September 19-21. ICUL is honored to offer this opportunity for learning and leadership development to our future credit union leaders and Convention attendees.

Crashers will participate in a community project, engage in CRASH specific sessions with influential credit union leaders, and will attend all the events available at Convention. 

In 2011, ICUL launched the CRASH program to diversify Convention participation and to allow emerging leaders more opportunities for growth. We have had over 100 Convention Crashers since the program began.

Credit Union Members Impacted by Tornado in Marshalltown
Earlier this month, a tornado touched down in parts of Marshalltown, impacting city structures, businesses and homes. Credit union members' homes and Lennox Employees Credit Union were impacted by the storm. This week, ICUL and ICUF staff visited the area and began to assess the needs of credit union members. We stand behind the credit unions and their members in these areas and offer our support to them in their time of need.

Join us for the 15th Annual Hack for CUPAC Golf Outing! Don't forget to register for Hack for CUPAC while you're registering for Convention. Please register for the event by August 31.

On September 19, registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. at Finkbine Golf Course, 1380 Melrose Avenue, Iowa City, IA 52242. Lunch will be provided.

ICUF Benefit Night Supports a Worthy Cause
The multiple natural disasters experienced in Iowa this year have given us a front-row seat to ICUF’s mission in action. Through their disaster grant funding, they have been able to help credit union members in their greatest time of need.

The room blocks at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites have been filled!

If you have reserved a large number of rooms at any of these hotels and may have extra rooms, please release rooms you don’t need as soon as possible so others may reserve them.

Credit Union Day at the Iowa State Fair is August 16
The Iowa Credit Union League is sponsoring Credit Union Day at the Iowa State Fair again this year!

Visit our booth along the Grand Concourse on August 16. There will be fun games, activities, giveaways and more. This booth will also be very child friendly - so bring the family. We hope to #CUattheFair on August 16!
