Celebrate Cooperative Month Throughout October

October is Cooperative Month! It's a time for cooperatives of all types, and from all industries, to reaffirm their member-owned missions and commitment to the communities they serve. This year's theme focuses on how cooperatives are shaping Iowa's economy.

International Credit Union Day is October 19

For the last 75 years, International Credit Union Day has brought people from credit unions all over the world together to celebrate the history of the cooperative movement and its impacts to communities across the globe.

Callahan & Associates 2Q Data and Performance Report Available

Callahan & Associates 2Q data for 2023 has been released by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). As of June 30, there were 74 Iowa credit unions holding over $32 billion in assets and over $26 billion in loans.

The 2Q 2023 Performance Summary Report for the state of Iowa is available in the ICUL Resource Library. The report contains key performance comparisons for Iowa credit unions and U.S. credit unions. Iowa credit union results and performance data tables are also included. Credit unions have access to these bi-annual performance summaries through ICUL's strategic partnership with Callahan & Associates.

Attend Peer Express Training and Participate in Spooktacular Contest

Through ICUL’s strategic partnership with Callahan & Associates, member credit unions can utilize the Peer Express tool to create credit union-specific reports to analyze Iowa's credit union industry. A new self-help legal resource, "Member Suspension, Restriction & Expulsion", has been created to help credit unions understand the circumstances which would allow for the expulsion, restriction or suspension of a credit union member.
