CAMI Board Chair Highlights Florida's Medicaid Opportunity in New Op-ed

With the OBBBA now law, the hard work of implementing its Medicaid provisions falls to the states.

In his new op-ed, CAMI Board Chair Stan Soloway argues that Florida is better positioned than most to get it right, and that the Sunshine state's next governor has a rare chance to turn a federal overhaul into real results for both taxpayers and patients. Soloway points to real legislative progress and an ongoing technology modernization effort as reasons for optimism, but warns that if Florida's next Governor isn't committed to making both a top priority from day one, the opportunity could go to waste.
