"In Beauregard Parish, we focus on the goal of excellence in public education. We strive for high academic achievement and healthy development for all students," wrote BPSB Superintendent Timothy Cooley in the report. "It is important that we celebrate the accomplishments of our schools and recognize the achievements of our students. Therefore, we have prepared a summary of our school system during the 2017-2018 school year. "Our children are the reason we exist and the reason we strive for excellence in all of our endeavors. Because of the support of our community--parents, business and industry, civic groups, and other clubs and organizations--we are able to provide a comprehensive program of learning which will equip our graduates to meet the challenges of the coming years," Cooley wrote. "Thank you for all that you have done to join us in providing Excellence in Education for each child."
