DETROIT, MI – Frontier International Academy (Frontier) is a free public charter school district serving students in grades K-8 at its Warren Campus and
K-12 at its Detroit campus. The Detroit campus is in a 1940s-era school building, a place marker of dedication to excellence in learning. In offering Arabic education, after-school programs, tutoring and more, Frontier has become an indispensable resource to the community.

Frontier’s mission seeks to promote lifelong learning by nurturing academic excellence, positive character, and appreciation of cultures. They believe this is accomplished through meaningful educational experiences that push their students to reach their highest potential.

As Frontier embraces its rich, culturally diverse communities, the school has successfully partnered with parents to make a better future for their families via education. An example of success was when 100% of Frontier’s Class of 2018 graduated and were accepted to universities and colleges of their choice. This is also evident through the activities the district has organized in preparation for the new school year and beyond.
In addition, Frontier is gearing up to welcome this year’s freshman class.  The attention to detail and intentionality in preparation is visible through the Freshman Orientation Day on August 23, which included a welcome breakfast, presentations, school tours, and informing the freshman of the opportunities available with enrollment.

It’s easy to appreciate the work that Frontier International Academy does for the students of its community!
