Derek Green, Darwin Beauvais,

and David Nasatir to Serve on Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker’s Transition Team

On Friday, December 1, 2023, Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker announced the appointment of Obermayer attorneys Derek Green, Darwin Beauvais,

and David Nasatir to her Transition Team.

Derek Green

Derek was appointed to serve as a member of the Mayor-elect's Steering Committee. Derek is a former Councilman At-Large for the City of Philadelphia. He has extensive litigation experience, including handling contract disputes, corporate transactions, and negotiating intergovernmental agreements.

Darwin Beauvais

Darwin will serve on the mayor-elect’s Housing, Planning, and Development Committee. Darwin is a partner in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department, focusing his practice on zoning and land use as well as local government affairs.

David Nasatir

David was appointed by Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker to serve on her Transition Team as a member of the 2026 Preparation Committee. Dave is the Chairman of the Firm as well as the Chair of both the Business and Finance Department and the Workout and Lender Liability group. Dave served as co-counsel to Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro’s transitional leadership team.

Cherelle L. Parker released the following statement regarding the announcement.

The lift of the transition will be heavy, but this willbe the team to do it.”
