As your official advocates for the Franchisee Community, and taking into consideration feedback received from you in our recent survey, NAASF has developed a statement of position regarding FSIs and digital offers. An excerpt is below:


During the pandemic and ensuing recovery, Subway adjusted its value strategy to focus on frequent, aggressive FSI (free-standing insert) coupons combined with a regular cadence of aggressive digital offers through the app, email, and promo codes printed on FSI coupons. The rationale for doing so was rooted in the realization that even with aggressively price-pointed all-access offers like “2 Footlongs for $10,"
