NAR 2022 First Vice President Candidate
My campaign for 2022 NAR First Vice President has been an extraordinary journey. So much has changed as we have adapted to running in a virtual environment; however, a lot has not changed. As so many of you know, I am a family person. My husband and I raised 7 children, and now are enjoying 5 grandchildren with a little granddaughter on the way. BUT my family also includes you, the Idaho REALTORS®. Nothing has been more heartwarming than the support this family has given me during the campaign.

Our REALTOR® family is facing tremendous uncertainty and massive changes across the industry. You need and deserve a leader who is willing to have the tough conversations with compassion, who is open minded and who has vision. I AM THAT CANDIDATE. My experiences as a REALTOR®, broker, and practicing agent help me understand what you are going through and will help shape our future as a national association and keep our members at the heart of the transaction.
Now, more than ever, our members are looking for leaders to be forward thinkers, anticipate changes in the marketplace, provide opportunities for growth and prosperity. AGAIN, I AM THAT CANDIDATE. My recent experience is relevant, I have been in the room promoting sound policies over politics; I’ve restructured programs to effectively help brokers across the country serve clients and their agents; and I’m focusing on members and how we can lay the foundation of success, through education and professionalism, for them every day.

I promise you--I care about our REALTOR® family, I will work tirelessly for this family every day, and I will be a genuine and authentic leader that keeps you at the center of every decision we make.

Details Of Dream House Getting Much Less Specific With Each New Place Found In Price Range
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—With her initially stated desire for restored wide-plank floors and a walk-in pantry having already been broadened to any hardwood or laminate flooring and decent kitchen storage space, sources confirmed Friday that aspiring homeowner Chelsea Lange has supplied a progressively vaguer description of her dream home with each new place she reviews in her price range.
“I’d love to find something with a lot of character—or, you know, just something really solidly built,” said Lange after clicking on three more affordable listings in her desired neighborhood, each of which revised her vision of a midsize 1930s Craftsman and left merely the idea of a detached single-family home in its place.

“I’ve always adored the idea of having a charming old vintage home full of original details, or a midcentury one, or even a more recently built place to call my own. A home that really keeps a roof over your head, that’s what I’ve got my eye on.” At press time, Lange had clicked on a listing for a handsome, on-budget brick colonial in her area and was in the midst of explaining aloud to herself that, really, any number of bathrooms would be great, even just one.

We believe advocacy is one of the most important aspects of what we do as REALTORS®. We want to replicate the success of the FPC program at the state legislative level.
