The Tippecanoe Arts Federation announces its gallery & events schedule for 2017; including dates for Annual Celebration, Bravo for the Arts, Gallery Exhibitions & Receptions, Gallery Walks, TAP for TAF Craft Brew Fest, and TASTE of Tippecanoe!!

JANUARY

Gallery Reception: Friday, January 20, 6-8pm

FEBRUARY

Youth Art Month Gallery Reception: Friday, February 17, 5-7pm
Exhibition Runs February 17-March 24
The Youth Art Month Exhibit is an annual celebration of K-8  art made in Tippecanoe County and surrounding areas in Indiana.

MARCH

Annual Celebration: March 3, 2017, 6-8pm
The Annual Celebration is an annual event presented by the  Tippecanoe Arts Federation to review the past fiscal year's achievements and celebrate all that TAF and its members  have accomplished in the arts community! The highlight of the event recognizes an outstanding arts volunteer with the   Suzanne Stafford Memorial Award.

After School Arts Program Spring Show: Friday, March 31, 5-7pm
Exhibition Runs March 29-April 7
The After School Arts Program (ASAP) is a free program designed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community. ASAP breaks down barriers, inspires the creative spirit, provides gap programming for home-schooled students, and gives youth a positive expressive outlet. Each semester concludes with a gallery exhibition featuring student art and a reception showcasing student performances.

APRIL

TAP for TAF Craft Brew Fest: April 8, 2017, 3-6pm
TAP for TAF is an event highlighting the growing interest in  craft beers and craft microbreweries. TAP is an exclusive  fundraising event for the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and  funds arts programs and services within TAF's 14 county  region in North Central Indiana. TAP takes place each April  on the top level of the 2nd Street Parking Garage in  Downtown Lafayette.

Gallery Walk Friday, May 19, 6-9pm
During Gallery Walk, the local arts community collaborates  with downtown business to highlight arts and culture. Experience  beautiful works of art at 30 locations, meet the artists, and enjoy  refreshments and live music on your stroll through Downtown  Lafayette!! Free horse-drawn carriage rides will also be available  courtesy of Greater Lafayette Commerce.

TASTE of Tippecanoe: Saturday, June 17, 2017, 4pm-midnight
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation presents the Annual TASTE  of Tippecanoe every third Saturday in June from 4pm until  midnight. Downtown Lafayette and the Depot Plaza come  alive FOOD, MUSIC, FIREWORKS, AND ART; featuring local  food & drink vendors, live music, live art demonstrations,  pop-up performances, and the biggest booms around!!
JULY

Bravo for the Arts: October 10, 2017, 11:30am-1pm
Bravo for the Arts is an annual event celebrating the arts, its leadership, and community partners. Arts and cultural organizations receive their grants on behalf of the Indiana Arts Commission and North Central Health Services during the event. The highlight of the event recognizes an outstanding business and individual that have moved the arts forward in North Central Indiana.

About the Tippecanoe Arts Federation
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation is the umbrella organization and arts council for 14 counties. TAF provides educational opportunities in the visual, performing, and literary arts, outreach programs for both underserved and at-risk youth, and funding for capital and operational expenses to fellow arts organizations region wide.
