SignOn Once 2018
Take a Look at the Updated ID Federation Trust Framework

Our mission is promoting information security and identity management for trusted transactions across the insurance industry for purposes including but not limited to reducing transaction friction, lowering cost and bolstering independent agent access.
Why Carriers Win with SignOn Once

Carriers, you need to face this reality: SignOn Once by ID Federation is the most effective, most efficient, most secure solution to the credential management crisis now facing the independent channel. Without it, agencies soon will see their costs to manage passwords skyrocketing to as much as $1,000 to $3,000 per user per year.

ID Federation in the News

When Insurance Digital Revolution surveyed 1,970 independent agencies this year, 52% of  respondents said  "they don't have a good understanding of cyber threats and what to do about them." Furthermore, only 10% of respondents said "their cybersecurity protection is excellent."

The industry that charges itself with providing cybersecurity insurance not only doesn't fully understand the risk, but is failing to protect itself and its customers' data. The good news is that there are 5 steps you and your agency can take to prepare for a cyberattack.

The Agents Council for Technology (ACT) featured  ID Federation  in an article addressing the expanded multi-factor authentication, or MFA, cyber regulations that will be adopted in more states.   MFA is a method to confirm a user's identity after entering two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism.

Passwords are intended to enhance security with unique credentials for every site. But they not only drastically slow business processing; they actually may create more risk, said Mike Foy, independent agency owner and chair of the Network of Vertafore Users. "Credential management is a train wreck that is about to get even worse."
