🔹 This updated edition reflects the Georgia Early Literacy and Dyslexia Act (HB 307), signed into law in April 2025.


📚 School districts are required by law to disseminate the handbook to all teachers by August 1. Educators are strongly encouraged to read the handbook in its entirety to understand current requirements related to literacy and dyslexia. Schools should begin reviewing practices to ensure alignment with the new legislation.
