IDA UPDATE
Indiana Dental Association | March 2020
IDA Monitoring State and Federal COVID-19 Legislation
IDA is monitoring bills and legislation at the state and federal level related to small business loans, employee compensation and individual assistance during the COVID-19 crisis. We will keep members informed with information and analysis as frequently as possible.

IDA has signed on to an ADA letter attempting to exempt dental offices from certain provisions in HR 6201, which includes a mandatory paid leave provision for employers. We will keep members informed about the progress of this bill through our Engage alerts.

ADAPT Pauses Monthly Fee
To help with the financial burden that dentists may be facing, ADAPT is pausing the monthly fee for the time being. ADAPT will reevaluate this decision again in eight weeks.

ADAPT is also offering participants the option to pause their transition. Click the link below to learn more about ADAPT.
IDA Central Office Remains Open
IDA's Central Office remains open at this time. The building owners, Sigma Theta Tau International, are operating with a rotating small staff and no receptionist, so we recommend contacting IDA in advance if you plan to visit our office. Email Laurie Campbell or call
800-562-5646.
Indiana Registry Allows Dentists to Volunteer Time
If you're looking to volunteer your time to help with the COVID-19 crisis, visit the Indiana Health Care Volunteer Registry. The registry allows dentists to use their healthcare expertise in a setting outside the dental office.
