You asked and we listened.
The IEA has embraced Adult Riders and is officially no longer a pilot program.
The “IEA Adult Rider Division” is here to stay!
The Adult program will remain basically the same - giving plenty of room for growth over the next few seasons. The key change is the addition of a secondary postseason opportunity.
Qualifying and competing at Regional Finals for Hunt Seat and Western and Zone Finals for Dressage remains the same. We want to make sure a local postseason opportunity remains available for all levels of Adult Riders.
Debuting this season will be a NEW Adult Rider National Finals Championship Class in each discipline that will highlight the top Adult Riders in the country. Modeled after the long-standing IEA Hunt Seat Varsity Open Championship (VOC), this new Adult Division National Finals class will feature the top eight (8) riders from each discipline with the highest number of combined regular season points in classes A1 and A2.
