IEC of Texas began the event on Saturday morning with the installation of the new Board. Mark Matheny (James Francis Electric) will be the IEC of Texas President for 2025.
The IEC Business Summit was held in San Antonio earlier this week. It was full of fun, education, and many networking opportunities.
Starting with the House of Delegates meeting where a new slate of officers were elected:
President - Troy Corrigan
Treasurer - Bruce Seilhammer
Secretary - Don Sharkey
1st Vice President - Jerry Kent
Past President - Janet Martin

We had a great State of the Industry Lunch by IEC Executive Director, Thayer Long.
And our closing Keynote by Donald Leavenes was a great way to end this event.
But along the way, we were able to have some fun:
The IEC Foundation hosted a Cigar & Whiskey Tasting event at On The Bend Oyster Bar & Cigar Lounge. We enjoyed lots of great food, raffle items, (some people enjoyed cigars).
Advocacy Fundraiser at the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum raised money for our IEC PAC and PEF.
The Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday evening. Lots of well deserving chapters, men & women were honored during the event. IECGSA earned a Membership Growth Award of achieving over 5% growth in the past year.
