Honoring the Life and Legacy | | In Memory of Lloyd Quinney | | |
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and industry leader, Lloyd Quinney. Lloyd dedicated so much of his life to strengthening IEC, the IEC Foundation, and the electrical industry as a whole. He served as Vice Chairman of the IEC Foundation Board of Trustees and was a past National President of IEC. Throughout his many years of leadership and service, Lloyd led with humility, wisdom, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.
Even in his final days, Lloyd continued advocating for the industry he loved so deeply. His dedication was selfless, tireless, and inspiring to everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. Through his leadership and involvement with IECGSA, IEC of Texas, IEC National, and the IEC Foundation, Lloyd made a lasting impact that will continue to shape the industry's future for years to come.
More than his titles and accomplishments, Lloyd will be remembered for his generous spirit, steady guidance, and the genuine care he showed to others. He had a way of making people feel valued, supported, and encouraged, and his presence will be deeply missed throughout the IEC family. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Lloyd’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.

| | 2026 IEC Foundation Classic Car Cruise | |
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the IEC Foundation Classic Car Cruise at Papa Rocks Pizza Pub! Even though our original date was postponed because of rain, our amazing community still came together and made the event incredibly special. Everyone truly showed up and showed out.
From the beautiful classic cars and motorcycles to the great conversations, delicious food, and fun atmosphere, it was a wonderful day filled with connection, laughter, and support for a meaningful cause. We want to sincerely thank Papa Rocks Pizza Pub, all of the car owners, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and everyone who attended. Your support helps the IEC Foundation continue creating opportunities through education, training, scholarships, and workforce development for the future of the electrical industry.

Honoring Achievement: IECF Grant & Scholarship Recognition Program
Now in its second year, the IEC Foundation’s Grant, Scholarship, and Recognition Programs continued to grow in both reach and impact. With support from our generous sponsors and the partnership of IEC chapters across the country, local recognition events were held to celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of outstanding students while highlighting the scholarships and grant programs made possible by the IEC Foundation.
