NTTAC Community of Practice for Early Care Education (ECE) Program Leaders Focusing on Peer Support and Strategies to Create Communities of Staff Wellness
Early Care Education (ECE) programs and staff have experienced tremendous challenges and stress over the last year. To support others in our system of care, we have to attend to our own self-care. This series will focus on thriving across contexts, including personal, familial, and professional, in order to better serve children and families.
NTTAC will come together for a Community of Practice of ECE program leaders and staff to collectively learn about how to support staff and create opportunities for success. NTTAC will be joined by experts in the field and will learn from each other how to build a holistic plan for thriving. Participants will have the opportunity to process what has been difficult about this time and will leave with tools and a sense of community that are the basis of building and sustaining early childhood systems of care.

PDG B-5 Early Childhood Governance Toolkit
This toolkit of curated resources contains introductory information for those who are initially considering a focus on governance by providing definitions, a short overview, and materials about key facets of governance including varying approaches and models. For those who are already considering governance reforms, we provide more in-depth materials that include a guide for those looking at governance structures and deeper dives examining different aspects of governance in states. The concluding section provides information on systems frameworks, as a reinforcement that governance is one of several critical elements for achieving an equitable early childhood system at the state level.

New Children's Equity Project Resources
The Children's Equity Project in partnership with several national organizations and funded by the Heising Simons Foundation published two new resources:
The first resource is a new report that identifies concrete ways state and tribal leaders can invest funding from the American Rescue Plan Act to advance equity in early learning settings.
The second resource, the Equity Strategic Plan Template, is a new tool that states and tribes can use to plan for and build more equitable early childhood systems. The tool takes users through a series of questions to identify the current policy, funding, and data landscapes and provides a template to fill in a plan of action. It can be used as a standalone equity strategic plan, or to inform existing plans, such as Child Care and Development Fund plans.
