Ultra-Compact Phase-Change GeTe-Based Scalable mmW Crossbar Switch Matrices
Two millimeter-wave and two dc monolithically integrated phase change material-based switch matrices in a crossbar configuration are presented. Extremely compact 2x2 and 4x4 crossbar matrices are demonstrated operating from dc to 40 GHz. No static dc power consumption makes PCM an attractive choice for future mmWave applications.

A Miniaturized Ultra-Wideband Radar for UAV Remote Sensing Applications
A novel approach to build a compact lightweight unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) radar for remote sensing applications is presented. The proposed radar exploits the recent advancement of an automotive radar chip for broadband chirp generation, fast-sweeping time, rapid data processing, and low power consumption.
Right Angle Waveguide Adapters Connect 2.92 mm and 2.4mm
Mini-Circuits has introduced a new family of adapters to connect coaxial and waveguide interfaces. Model WR22-VFR+ is a 2.4mm-F to WR22 right-angle adapter covering the 33 to 50 GHz frequency range. Model WR28-KFR+ is a 2.92mm to WR28 right angle adapter covering the 26.5 to 40 GHz range. Both models are essential lab hardware for Ka-Band and Q-Band test setups and more!

An Ingenious Interferometric Front-End for Concurrent Dual-Band Transmission
An innovative approach to realizing the concurrent dual-band transmission with only a single front-end and local oscillator at radio frequency is presented. The approach is used to demonstrate concurrent dual-band transmission with M-QAM signals.

Terrestrial Microwave Power Beaming
A rapid demonstration of X-band microwave power beaming across irregular, inhomogeneous terrain is reported in this paper. This is the first power beaming demonstration to exploit the effect of “ground bounce” to enhance power density at the target location, exceeding 1 km in range and 1 kW in received power at a frequency > 3 GHz.
