Josephson Junctions-Based Low-Temperature Superconducting Phase Shifter for X- and K-Bands
This letter presents a low-temperature superconductor-based X- and K-band analog ultra-wideband phase shifters realized by coupling an array of RF superconducting quantum interference devices (rf-SQUIDs) to a transmission line. The device is fabricated utilizing MIT-LL SFQ5ee process and experimental analog current-controlled phase shift of 130° and 328° with IL of 0.46 ± 0.23 dB and 2.5 ± 1 dB in X- and K-band, respectively.

Detection of Doppler Cardiograms with a Parameterized Respiratory Filter Technique Using a K-Band Radar Sensor
A high-linearity K-band CW Doppler radar sensor with adaptive digital dc-tuning is presented for accurate detection of the Doppler cardiograms (DCGs) in the presence of respiration. The experimental results in clinical environments show that the grained differential DCG has promising potential in professional heart rate variability (HRV) analysis and heart diseases diagnosis such as atrial fibrillation (AF) and premature heartbeat (PHB).

In-House Electroplating and 3-D-Printing Processes Applied to mmWave Devices
This letter details the metallization process of 3-D-printed WR-28 and WR-10 waveguides using electroplating. A two-step metallization process is followed: a pre-metallization with nickel spray and a subsequent electroplating process. Measured average losses are around 1 dB/m for the WR-28 waveguide and 4 dB/m for the WR-10 waveguide.
