Self-Forced Oscillation Multi-Mode Heterogeneously Integrated Laser
This design concepts of a fully integrated self-forced (SF) optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) using the heterogeneously integrated InGaAsP/InP multi-mode laser on a Si substrate is presented. Long optical fiber delays required for SF oscillation are replaced with cascaded optical add-drop filters for single chip realization on Si-Photonics.

Frequency-Selective-Surface-Based Reconfigurable THz Bandpass Filter
A 220-330 GHz reconfigurable bandpass filter is presented in this paper. The spectral tunability of the bandpass filter is realized by mechanically changing the distance between a pair of identical double-layer FSS structures. Experimental filter tunes over 227-309 GHz with an insertion loss less than 1.3 dB and a 31% fractional bandwidth.
MMIC LNA Covers 0.05 to 10 GHz
Mini-Circuits PMA3-14LN+ is a GaAs pHEMT based MMIC LNA operating over the entire 0.05 to 10 GHz frequency range. This model provides 1.8 dB noise figure, 22.6 dB gain with ±0.7 dB flatness, +22 dBm P1dB and +30.4 dBm OIP3. It operates on a single +6V supply and comes in a 3x3 mm QFN package.

Miniaturized Dual-Mode Dual-Mode TM Dielectric Filter in Planar Configuration
This paper reports a class of compact inline dual-band bandpass filters using TM-mode dielectric resonators in planar configuration. By utilizing dual-mode dielectric-loaded TM-mode waveguides, substantial size miniaturization and volume saving (>70%) is obtained (compared to conventional waveguide technology), while maintaining unloaded quality factors greater than 1000.

Radar-Based Mapping of Environment: Occupancy Grid-Map Versus SAR
This paper provides for the first time a qualitative comparison between radar-based occupancy grid maps (OGMs) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) maps for creating GMs based on identical raw data using existing mapping algorithms. A comparison of the advantages of OGM-based maps and SAR-based maps is provided.
