I am pleased to be elected president of the Board of the Idaho Episcopal Foundation. For over 30 years I have served as the priest at Holy Trinity Church in Buhl. I’ve had an interesting life; my late husband, Cal, and I traveled and we played a lot of golf. We have 4 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. I have had the honor to do weddings for 4 of our grandchildren. I was a board member of Boys and Girls Clubs in Twin Falls and helped establish a club in Buhl. Cal and I got involved in some environmental work, saving the Snake River north of Buhl from being spoiled by 3 proposed dams. Yet I think my involvement in IEF has been one of the best things I have done. I’ve been on the Grants Committee for years and enjoy the privilege we have to support so many exciting missions. Holy Trinity has money invested in IEF so we have assurance that our money is being cared for by dedicated people. IEF is such an important organization for the Diocese.
Thank You Nancy!
As an IEF board member I have watched as many talented people have worked as board members and committee members. I am thankful that Nancy Koonce was president this past year. She has been with IEF for 20 years! She is supremely organized and knowledgeable about every IEF detail since she has been on every committee and chaired 3 of them. We are fortunate she is now on executive committee and can answer the many questions I will have. Thanks Nancy!
