What’s next for IEOCC: Inform our plans. Take short survey by Nov. 9
Our new 6-question survey is for anyone who lives or works in the Inland Empire who cares about opioids, public safety, harm reduction and substance use services. Mostly likely that’s you! The survey is a unique chance for both active and non-active IEOCC stakeholders to add their thoughts to the priorities and needs established so far in the strategy discussions by our Steering Committee and other leaders. Complete by November 9, please. If you receive a separate link, please only complete it once. Take the survey here.
Latest Riverside County Monthly Overdose Data
New data is available for fatal overdoses in Riverside County, for 2019 and preliminary data for January - August 2020. The new report will be available each month and is already guiding the outreach strategies of our Safe Prescribing Workgroup and Education and Engagement Workgroup in their combined efforts. The IEOCC is grateful to the Riverside Overdose to Action project team for their strong work on surveillance data. Please click here to see the data.

Pioneering Ideas: Exploring the Future to Build a Culture of Health Grant

We are interested in ideas that address any of these four areas of focus: Future of Evidence; Future of Social Interaction; Future of Food; Future of Work. Additionally, we welcome ideas that might fall outside of these four focus areas, but which offer unique approaches to advancing health equity and our progress toward a Culture of Health. Applications are on a rolling deadline. To apply, click here.
Evidence for Action: Investigator-Initiated Research to Build a Culture of Health Grant
Evidence for Action (E4A), a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), funds research that expands the evidence needed to build a Culture of Health.
