IEPA Members receive discounted registration rates for participation in the conference. Membership is free of charge and open to all individuals with an interest in the area of early intervention in mental health. IEPA 12 Travel Awards

The Angelo Cocchi Travel Award

Angelo
After his death in 2015, the board of the IEPA created the Angelo Cocchi Award to honour his contribution to the field of early intervention in psychosis. In 2019 the Board decided to continue this award as the Angelo Cocchi Travel Award to help a clinician or clinical academic who has made a significant contribution to the study or implementation of fidelity to an evidence-based model of early intervention attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference.

The Larry J Seidman Travel Award

Following his death in 2017 the board of the IEPA created the Larry Seidman Award to honour Dr. Lawrence J. Seidman, an eminent neuropsychologist and Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. In 2019 the Board decided to continue this award as the Larry Seidman Travel Award to help a clinician or clinical academic who supports mentoring attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference.

We are pleased to advise applications are now being accepted for the Future Leaders Awards to attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference, New Frontiers in Early Intervention, being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in September 2020.

The IEPA's 12th International Conference on Early Intervention in Mental Health "New Frontiers in Early Intervention" will be an attractive platform to promote your organisation to a relevant and interested audience. This conference is organised for those with an interest in prevention and the early intervention in youth mental health problems to exchange and promote ideas and implementation in this area: from advances in genetis to improvements inbrain imaging, to novel social, psychological, and digial intervention.

Lived Experience Launch
In order to support the future of the lived experience early intervention research workforce, IEPA is exploring mechanisms for funding lived experience travel scholarships and targeted mentoring, networking and capacity building opportunities at biennial conferences.
 
To kickstart this transformation IEPA has launched the  IGNITE: Transforming Early Intervention Together fundraising campaign.
