The IFA is excited to launch a consensus statement from the Copenhagen Summit on cognitive reserve.
Held in October 2019 in partnership with DaneAge, the Summit brought together over 75 delegates from 22 countries, comprising of public health policy makers, international organizations focused on ageing and brain health, academia and policy advocacy experts.
The consensus statement identifies three important factors necessary to drive the development of a global, coordinated and evidence-informed action plan to boost cognitive reserve.

Influencing Policy to Improve Adult Vaccination in Germany
The IFA has released a report following the IFA-led expert meeting held in February 2020, which brought together experts in vaccination and public health, alongside leaders of ageing and at-risk patient organizations to identify opportunities to help improve adult uptake rates and strengthen vaccine-related policy in Germany.

The
report calls for multi-pronged educational approaches to improve the life course vaccination narrative in France, where influenza vaccination rates have decreased from 60% in 2010 to 46% in 2017. This approach must be targeted to a variety of stakeholders, including policymakers, health care professionals and members of civil society.

On 13 May 2020 a meeting of the DR Barometer Global Advisory Committee (GAC) was held online so as to inform the strategic direction of the DR program in the context of COVID-19 pandemic.
The GAC agreed that the face-to-face DR Barometer Communities of Practice Onborading Workshop in Zagreb, Croatia would be postponed to 20-21 March 2021 in order to ensure the safety of delegates.
Partners continue to be very active in seeking and sharing COVID-19 related information and resources as it relates to guidelines and protocols, patient education and empowerment and coordinated care and shared with DR Barometer Community through various online channels including DR Webinar Series, and the DR Resource Library.
