NEW YORK CHAPTER
IFDA NY CELEBRATES AT THE NYC SUMMER SOCIAL

Billed as the “Greatest Summer Social on Earth,” the event on Tuesday evening, July 25th did not disappoint. It was held in partnership with Samsung at their flagship NYC Experience Store in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan.
It was an exclusive event solely for the members of IFDA NY, ASID NY Metro, the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) the Interior Design Society (IDS) NYC and NKBA Manhattan.
The Samsung building itself is remarkable, a twisting steel and glass tower, integrated with a restored Modern-style brick warehouse, the award-winning work of Morris Adjmi Architects. It has a three-story main stage screen with amphitheater, AR studio, customer experience area, creator spaces and café.
Partygoers reveled in the interactive playground filled with next-gen technologies for home and entertainment and a sustainable green space.
Brian Gallop and IFDA NY Chapter President were the presenters had a roster of talented artists, singers that performed with a gigantic screen showcasing graphics and renderings by artist Ricardo Monge, who generously donated his time.
