IFF'S "IMAGE" OF THE FUTURE

We are so excited to announce that on September 25th, the tumor monorail, a project that was enabled and originally conceived by the brilliance of Ravi Bellamkonda, Barun Brahma, Nassir Mokarram and IFF and further funded with the help of Billie and Bernie Marcus and The Marcus Foundation, was performed on a human for the FIRST TIME - and the procedure was successful! We are so thankful for all for all of your love and continued support.

We are also so enthusiastic to be at what we feel is on the forefront of funding AI technology and are proud to announce some exciting additionally funded lab projects this year. One of our projects, FastGlioma, the AI-based diagnostic system that aids neurosurgeons in identifying invisible cancer in real-time from tissue biopsy, is being studied to apply the dataset of 11,000 tumor specimens to detect healthy tissue and residual tumor in the margins of high-risk tissue. This technology was recently published in the journal Nature. Click here to read the article.

Additionally, the only way AI becomes more prevalent across all aspects of medicine is through the creation and adaption of the largest data sets available for machine learning. With IFF recognizing this need when others have not, this past year we have forged what we feel will be the greatest innovation to helping to build AI generated models.

IFF has invested in the creation of what we hope will become the largest digitized bio repository in the world for brain cancer. To aid in this happening, We have initiated the creation of the IFF consortium whose members will have open access to all of the greatest digitized resources hoping to enable the field to move forward and therapies progress because of the data made available thanks to all of you.

Welcome to the 21st IFF century of making changes in the world of cancer!!!!!

We COULD NOT do this without all of you and your support!

Thank you!

The community of IFF LA West Coast founders Sydney and Joey Meller has directly been affected by the devastating fires. Our hearts go out to all of our friends in LA impacted. If you are able to help support their beautiful community, please consider donating to a wildfire relief fund which assists members of the community who are displaced or have lost their homes.
