During this webinar a panel of nurses who have conducted a variety of literature reviews will support attendees in expanding their understanding and skills related to undertaking literature reviews. Nurses in practice, education, and research develop excellent research questions that stem from gaps in what is currently known. Understanding the importance, uses, different types, benefits, challenges, and outcomes of literature reviews is critical to advance family nursing knowledge.

 

Learning Objectives

a. Understand the range and rationale for use of literature reviews with emphasis on scoping, integrative and systematic literature reviews.

b. Learn about conducting a variety of literature reviews.

c. Examine the unique benefits and challenges related to conducting scoping, integrative, and systematic literature reviews.

d. Gain an enhanced understanding of the ways in which literature reviews contribute to development of knowledge in family nursing.

 

Target Audience

This webinar is relevant for nurses interested in learning more about a variety of literature reviews that can be completed to enhance the state of knowledge in family nursing.
