IFP Pro Presents
IFP Founder Sandra Schulberg Discusses Film Restoration
Friday, November 15, 3:30-5:30pm
IFP Minnesota, 2446 University Ave W, St. Paul
FREE

Do you know where your master film and digital materials are? Are they being preserved in proper archival conditions? You're invited to an impromptu brainstorming session with Sandra Schulberg, who 35 years ago, founded the IFP. Now she's heading a brand new campaign called IndieCollect to preserve American indie films. She'll report on the rescue this summer of more than 800 indie films from the DuArt vaults and her amazing restoration of one of the most important documentaries in history, NUREMBERG: ITS LESSON FOR TODAY (1948), directed by Stuart Schulberg. She wants to find out how IndieCollect's collaboration with the participating archives can be of help to Minnesota filmmakers, so don't miss this lively, interesting discussion with this illustrious American cinema figure!
