Collective Resource Compost
Effective January 1, 2020, Collective Resource Compost has entered into a municipal franchise agreement with the Village of Skokie to provide their container swapout food scrap collection service at a reduced rate. This is Skokie's first village-wide composting program, as they do not have a yard cart tagalong like some other cities. Skokie is the second municipality to enter into a franchise agreement with the Evanston-based company. Their hometown of Evanston entered into a franchise agreement with them in November 2017.
